Topic: Noodle Kugel

1 bag Egg Noodles
6 Eggs with shells
1 medium apple (washed)
kaytee pellets (or pellets of your choice)
Nuts (optional)
vitamins (optional)


Preheat oven to 350
Add noodles to boiling water and cook til done.  Drain. Cool slightly.  Add eggs with shells, beating well each time.  (shells to be added if only bird is eating it. Not for humans) Add apples, raisins, pellets, nuts, and supplements, mix thouroughly.  Pour mixture into pan that has been coated with spray, or vegetable shortening.  Bake 40-60 min. until golden brown.  Remove, cool, and serve slightly warm.

mmm, yummy! Do you know if you can freeze extra portions and serve as needed?

yep, it freezes well.  I have done this, that way you can microwave to thaw, or thaw at room temp.  They love it.
