1/2 lb (pound) dates
2 cups chopped walnuts
1/2 lb dried apricots
1/2 cup cranberry and raisin mix
1/2 lb dried figs
1 tsp (teaspoon) sesame seeds or hulled buckwheat
1/2 lb mixed dried fruit
Put dates, figs, walnuts, apricots, mixed dried fruit, raisins, and cranberries through a food grinder.? Grind. Scoop out and shape into small balls.? Roll into seeds, buckwheat , or finely chopped nuts.? Refrigerate portions until ready to feed.
Optional:
Try mixed nuts or pistachio nuts in place of walnuts.
***Remember all nuts are to be fresh, not prepared in salt.***
