I have a fischer lovebird who would kick all the seed out of the dishes before his mate could eat. Very frustrating! I tried everything, even putting dishes all over the cage and one on the bottom. Still he kicks it out. But now I think I found one,,,, at petsmart and he can't kick it out. Here is a picture:
