DNA Sexing

Having your bird DNA sexed or Surgically Sexed can be important if you want to better understand what some of their behaviors mean. Or at least help you understand why your bird is soo cranky sometimes.  grin

Here are a few places you can send off samples to get a DNA certificate. They are significantly cheaper then your vet although you do have to get the sample yourself. Please if you know others post here. This way we will have a one stop reference for places you can send off DNA tests.

Enjoy.

Those sites work really well Carrie, also, Alot of times you can get your fid surgically sexed.  Alot of times the local petshops will know of a avian vet who will do it for $5.00-$10.00

Cool!  I wish it would have been around here.  The vets want about $100
