We love it there.  We generally stay at Nags Head.

I found a place called the FinnFeather hotel that we might stay at. I can't remember what island it is on but we can take all 3 dogs.

It is tough finding a place out there that will let you have more than 2 dogs. How do you do it?

Pistachio discovered lima beans today. She likes me to take the flesh off and she eats the meat inside.

We rented a house (I call villa) for a week, and most of them all let you have dogs.  And yes, they knew I had five because they asked, and when we were done, they gave me 150.00 back.  refund.

http://www.sunrealitync.com sent me a book on all the rentals.  go to their website and check it out.  They have alot of nice properties. it was likke 200 aday, but it was worth it.

Ok, so this weekend was a great weekend for Pistachio. We had gorgeous sunny weather (even though it was some what chilly outside) I took her shower perch and attached it to the sliding glass door. Then I hung the play gym that I made from the ceiling and Pistachio screamed with delight while she sun bathed and played with the toys hanging onff the gym. I took a few pics that I can post when I get home.

Also she tried butternut squash for the first time, Yummy she said. Well I wish she had said it but she is not talking yet.

I tried putting the happy hut flat on the floor like BK mentioned to see if she would sleep on it. No such luck. She did sleep two nights on her pediperch which is the highest perch in the cage. But last night it was back into a corner on the bottom of the cage. Wierd! But still cute.

I also learned that we get up WAY too early for Pistachio, she likes to sleep in until at least 8:00 AM when the sun is fully up.  During the week my husband gets up at 5:00 AM and I get up at 6:00 AM. I don't bother to uncover her until right before I leave the house, 7:00 AM. She just scowls at me. LOL

But when I come home for lunch she is just chatty cathy and I really think she is trying to talk but she has so many choices she can't decide. Any advice on this?

Well I guess that is enough talking about my Pistachio! LOL

Ok~ So Pistachio has figured out that the game of Peek-A-Boo can be a lot of fun.

Last night she was being a stinker so I covered her with the blanket that was drapped across my legs. They I promptly uncovered her and said Peek-a-boo. She sqwauked a good bit and attacked the blanket. So I tried it again, she then started making a noise that almost sounded like my laugh when I play with her. It was really cute.

All of this stemmed from her being a naughty girl. I'll have to get a pic of her doing it, if I think about it.
