Where do you place the straws for her to pick them up from? LIke in an extra food dish? I saw some wooden dials that I could give her too.

I know cantab just leaves them in a pile where she plays, so a pile on the play gym would be great, just on the floor....

It seems that Pistachio will try anything I give her. She was sitting on top of my cook book stand while I was doing the prep work for dinner (not cooking yet, just slicing and preparing). I offered her a potato skin she ate it.  shckd I offered her raw potato she ate it  shckd

Here are some pics

A few pics of Pistachio and her cage. I cleaned and rearranged her cage today. I also gave her some straws so maybe she will play with them. We will see.

I love how she is sitting on the door watching all that is going on!  He is watching to see if he likes it or not!  LOL

I know she is such a sweetie. Funny thing is she sleeps on the bottom of her cage in a corner.  shckd I tried giving her a little tent to sleep in but she didn't want to.  disagri I sometimes wonder if the cage is too big. I was reading that sometimes Quakers can feel insecure if their cage is too big. So I thought if I put a lot of toys in there, maybe it would feel less HUGE!

She still sleeps on the bottom in the corner.  dunno

I would put a blanket at the bottome of the cage at night for her.  I wouldn't leave it in all day, just at night, see if she sleeps on it.

Good idea, she swaps corners some nights it is the back left corner sometimes it is the front left corner. I'll cut a strip off from the blanket I have covering her cage, it is a little too big plus is is soft and cushy. Thanks for the suggestion.

Let me know if she sleeps on it.  I love hearing about her.  It is like a adoptive parent.

Cool, if I ever come to IL and we drive I'll have to bring her so you can meet her. Or when you go to the coast!
