I just noticed this smiley and I love it!!!

Ok, So last night we were watching a movie and we popped some popcorn. Let me set the stage. I am snuggled in on my sofa (my husband has his own sofa too) with Lily spooning behind my knees and Pistachio on my chest under my blanket. I am holding the bowl of popcorn (which I airpop and don't add salt to). And Lily leans in and wants to take a piece from my hand (which I am offering to her). Well Pistachio, peaks her head out of the blanket and takes the popcorn in her beak. Lily gets this look of disappointment on her face, and Pistachio drops the popcorn. Which Lily then hesitates for a moment and then licks it up off of my arm. It was sooo cute! cheezy
Iknow that the only reason Pistachio dropped it was because she wasnt' sure if she liked it, but it was funny.

And Lily waited to make sure that Pistachio wasn't going to pick it back up.
I love my two girls! Although, we have to keep a close eye on that GSP in the house.
Things are going great with that too. The more I have Pistachio out, the less he is interested in her. The initial reaction is always the same (very interested) but as soon as I start tossing ball for him or give him a bone, he has forgotten all about the bird. I figure he needs to learn this, after all Pistachio is not a pheasant or a quail. So there is no need for him to bother her!

I know I know I am going to hear it about how careful I need to be with my dogs. But please don't beat me yet. For the past 10 years I made a living training dogs. So needless to say, my dogs have learned a lot and have had to live with rules in the house. So when mommy (me) says something they all listen. So don't worry, so long as I am home my birds are safe to be out. Because I will NEVER leave them alone with the dogs.
